We are proud to introduce you to our seventh Bucks County “Teacher of The Year” finalist, Kristina Temple, a 20-year veteran in the Bristol Township School District. Kristina called Buchanan Elementary her home for 19 years before moving to Brookwood Elementary School last year. After teaching kindergarten for 10 years, Kristina is now in her tenth year teaching 3rd grade, which she says she loves just as much.
Kristina Temple has a Bachelor’s and Master’s degree in Elementary Education. She is constantly updating her education with the latest materials and teaching strategies.
When Kristina is not teaching, you’ll find her cheering on one of her four children on the soccer field, the basketball court, a nearby baseball field or bowling alley. She also enjoys skiing, traveling, baking and “getting lost in a good book.”
One of Kristina’s favorite things about teaching is being stopped by former students around town and getting to hear what they are doing with their life. “I enjoy hearing about where they are in life and they usually share a memory that they had with me from our short time together.”
Congratulations to Kristina Temple and all 10 of the 2017 Teacher of the Year finalists. We will continue to spotlight each of our ten finalists for “Teacher of the Year” on our blog and on our Facebook page over the next few weeks.
