Inspire Federal Credit Union is proud to introduce you to another Bucks County “Teacher of The Year” finalist, Dana DiJoseph. Dana started as a Reading Specialist and is now very happy in her 3rd grade classroom at Belmont Hills. This 14-year teaching veteran is a natural collaborator and leader. Dana has multiple roles at Belmont Hills, including Elementary Reading and Language Arts Curriculum Coordinator. She also assists in the research and implementation of reading and writing curriculums throughout six elementary schools.
Dana has a Master’s of Education with a Reading Specialist Certification. Her other certifications include Elementary and Early Childhood Education, Special Education and an ESL Program Specialist. Her goal is to serve as a Supervisor of Reading and English Language Arts. She is also in the process of obtaining a Principal Certification.
When we asked Dana her favorite thing about teaching, it was somewhat difficult for her to narrow it down to just one. Her top three favorite things include inspiring students, embarking on new journeys every day and building relationships with each of her kids and colleagues. Dana aspires to be a role model that encourages students to strive for greatness and help them realize their full potential.
Congratulations to Dana DiJoseph and all 10 of the 2017 Teacher of the Year finalists. Over the coming weeks, we will be spotlighting each of our ten finalists for “Teacher of the Year” on our blog and on our Facebook page.
